CNA | Hyundai Motor to suspend South Korea production as coronavirus disrupts supply chain
Car manufacturing giant Hyundai will gradually suspend production at its South Korean factories. Unions said the coronavirus outbreak in China has disrupted supplies of vehicle parts. This makes Hyundai the first major global car maker to stop production outside of China due to the virus.
Alex Capri, visiting senior fellow at NUS Business School, was in the studio to discuss the supply chain disruption and which other industries could be affected.
